As the HR administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Senior Human Resources Manager. Essential Job Responsibilities: Entry Level Position

  • Spearheading administrative projects from conception to completion
  • Schedule interviews
  • Assist with conducting interviews face to face and over the phone
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and drug screens as needed
  • Assist training new employees in the Training Center and conduct orientations as needed
  • Assist staff new start-ups and participate in the field at the new start-ups
  • Create employee badges and facilitate meeting building specific badge requirements
  • Be proactive in hiring approach. Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
  • Support of all Office personnel
  • Maintain a high level of organization in both paper files and computer files
  • Answer and direct phones
  • Maintain social media
  • Place advertisements to attract talent
    1. Newspapers
    2. Online job boards (Applicant Stack, Indeed, Craigslist)
    3. Area canvassing (flyers, signs)
    4. Job Fairs
    5. Company website
  • Review hourly employee applications

Experience:

  • The HR Assistant high school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • The HR Assistant must have intermediate knowledge of secretarial skills such as typing, filing, etc., and must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
  • Must possess strong organizational, communication, time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to build and develop relationships with employees throughout the organization.
  • Must always be able to effectively manage and maintain professionalism.
  • Must be able to work independently
